Frenchman Bay United is a broad coalition of groups and individuals that have come together to oppose the American Aquafarms proposal for an industrial fish farm in Frenchman Bay and to preserve the balance of uses and interests that has existed in the bay for generations.

In addition to these opponents, other organizations, businesses and scientists signed on to a May 17 letter urging the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to conduct a comprehensive and rigorous Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed development – the highest level of scrutiny a project like this can receive.
